AUGH I AM SO LAZY.
This is the silhouette I’ve been enjoying with this week. I’ve several outfits based on this shape but as laziness protrudes my body and mind I forgot to take photos Also, this is my favourite anyway.
As you can see I’m absolutely sick of my hair. I want to dye it badly but I’ve a feeling I’ll regret it because my natural hair has never showed this much. I thought my roots were hardly noticeable but then I looked in a mirror with some nice daylight shining on me and turns out the roots are indeed very, very noticeable? Oh but it looks vaguely natural! Kind of. (Not really.)
I’ve been watching Big Love again and I couldn’t help braiding my hair! I’m definitely glad my fringe is out of my way but I’m weirded out that I’m sending polygamist & fundamentalist vibes (in my mind) XD. Is it bad that I love Nikki’s overly prude and flowery style? :D
I’m feeling so absolutely meehhh today so to cure this feeling I can only do one thing: WEAR A SAILOR THEMED OUTFIT! :D
You know, for a year or so I believed my parents had met Bryan Ferry after finding an old photo from him in between holiday photos from London. I finally got around to asking my parents about this but turns out it was just a wax statue :(
Does this wax statue look a lot like Bryan Ferry or does Bryan Ferry look a lot like a wax statue? The eternal conundrum.
Pastel perfectness!
If you ever need cheering up and one of your favourite things are either musicals, 60s clothes, pastel colours and French songs you really need to check out Les Demoiselles De Rochefort! I first saw this when I was bored and zapping quite some time ago (I can’t even remember when I last properly watched some TV so must’ve been ages!). And now whenever I’m bored (yes) or need some laugh and energy this is the movie to Youtube (it’s a verb)! :D
I mostly enjoy this scene in which Gene Kelly has just met the girl of his dreams and ends up tap dancing WITH SAILORS.
Also, this sailor is such a dreamboat!
Also, I don’t think there’s anything that brings me more joy than synchronised dancing! XD
This film totally reminds me (fashion-wise, that is) of certain Pierre Cardin’s 60s designs! :D

Sometimes I unconsciously and unwantedly get into self-reflective mode and wonder why I have this exhibitionist tendency to post the ridiculousness of my daily wear… but then something really amazing comes up and I JUST HAVE TO SHARE. This time it’s this amazing custom dress I got for my birthday from my beloved, Evelien :D. No srsly.
Of course, it’s just plain fun to dress up and have fun in front of the camera. Also, ego inducing :D
On the other hand, people can see my many, many flaws! So this time I plea you to ignore my face which hasn’t slept properly in over two weeks and is melting of the incredibly hot weather today. Also my gazillion wounds due to half-asleep scratching (and consequently BLEEDING – yet I did Photoshop most of them out so all is cool).
As said, it’s custom made to fit my erratic bodyshape! I LOVE IT SO! I can never find something that properly fits me in stores; I always have to tweak something.
I hope she can make a living of her clothes because they’re so beautifully pin-up inspired without using garish colours, too much frills and revealing a plentiful cleavage! Yet perhaps she should work a little more on the seams ’cause mine ripped! But that could also be due to my curvaceous bottom, hah! Yet, I’ll always be ready to plug her online! …just so you know I AM ALWAYS OPEN FOR MORE FREE DRESSES, EVELIEN XD

(Oh also, I’m currently still tweaking a new layout… Some days ago I accidentally destroyed a bit of code and just this tiny thing was off… I tried to fix it but I ended up skewing my ENTIRE layout which I stupidly didn’t back up! Oh well, I was getting sick of it anyway :D. It’s time for something a bit more simple. I love the boxiness of this layout, yet I do wish I could add a second sidebar. Oh well.)
